When Christchurch rider Lance Griffin did Le Petit Brevet last November, it didn't provide the boost in confidence an aspiring ultra endurance racer would have hoped for. He got lost on day one and pulled out that night with a nasty case of the shivers. But he forged ahead anyway, and I'm guessing he's pretty close to finishing.

This event is a very, very tough nut to crack. Hopefully Lance is feeling well pleased with himself (and about to enjoy a couple of gallons of ice cream).
